2025 Bugatti Vision GT: The Hypercar of Tomorrow

Video game cars don’t always make it into reality, but the Bugatti Vision GT certainly has. This incredible hypercar is unique and futuristic.

This Bugatti was never supposed to make it out of the video game, but it did. As surprising as that is, the concept version of this car appeared at the 2015 motor show in Frankfurt, which is already nine years behind us. Still, the Vision GT is a car of the future and something spectacular that was only ever supposed to be a concept car but has been sold to interested parties.

The concept car

The entire purpose of this Bugatti supercar was to be a concept car that would never make it to the road. The models that have been sold probably haven’t been on any road, but maybe on a track. Most of the time, concept cars don’t make it from the manufacturer to any consumers, but there was an exception for the Vision GT. The incredible style, tech, and build of this amazing car make it unique, and it could quickly signal the future of high-performance driving.

The Vision Grand Turismo project

The Bugatti Vision GT came to be because of a project of the same name. This means the Bugatti team wasn’t exactly creative with its project naming (some automakers give their projects unique names), but that doesn’t mean this isn’t an incredible car. The project started out as a collection of fictional cars that were intended to be included in the Gran Turismo series of racing-themed video games and not to be built into actual cars. The project took on a life of its own, and the digital world blended with the real world to create this amazing car.

Type 57 influence

Several previous Bugatti models influenced the build and creation of this incredible video game-inspired car. The Bugatti Type 57 was built from 1934 to 1940 and 700 models were produced and sold during this time. The color scheme of the new Vision GT came from the Type 57 giving this car the gorgeous blue hues that we can easily admire when looking at this incredible car. The Type 57 was only one Bugatti that contributed to this amazing concept car.

It is in the game

It would have been awful for a car that started as a video game car to never be in the game. Thankfully, the Bugatti Vision GT was in the Gran Turismo game, in the Sport version. In this game, it was in the Group X category, which has the Vision Gran Turismo cars and other high-performance concept cars. If you play Gran Turismo Sport, you can enjoy the fun of this incredible car and know that it made it out of the game and into real life.

Incredible value

There’s only one model of this amazing video game to concept car, and that means it’s super rare. The rarity, the brand name, and the amazing build make it an extremely valuable car. The estimated value of this incredible machine is nearly $18 million, which is a pretty fair estimate. There isn’t much information that can be used to come up with a proper valuation for this car, but the number tossed out there sounds like it could be pretty close to accurate.

Its changed hands

You might not expect a car that is the only one in existence to ever change hands, but it has. The Bugatti Vision GT has already been sold from the original owner, who is a member of the Saudi royal family, to a man called Hezy Saked, who is the Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer for Tillys. This car is making the rounds and makes us wonder if it will eventually be put up at auction for all to see and bid on.

Comines Road Car and LMP1 Prototype

The Vision GT is a combination car, marrying all the goodies of a road car and a LMP1 prototype. This was the goal when creating this car and its normal for Bugatti to hit all the right marks when creating a concept car. The LMP1 model refers to some of the prototype models that are used in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which are faster when moving in a straight line when compared to some of their counterparts. This combination makes for one amazing concept machine.

The Bugatti Vision GT is a singular hypercar focused on the future of driving. This amazing supercar is truly one of a kind and shows what happens when a video game car jumps into reality.
